Emerging from a management buyout of one of Google South Africa’s largest premium cloud partners, three visionaries would come to form Teraflow.ai.
With Prinavan Pillay, Brett StClair, and Michael Cowen united by a shared belief that Data and MLOps are the future of enterprise AI, our founders set out to create a company that would transform how businesses adopt and scale AI.
The journey began with groundbreaking deployments at Vodafone Portugal and Vodacom South Africa, leveraging Vodafone’s Neuron data environment built on Google Cloud. It was this foundation that led to the development of our proprietary DaPa (Digital AI Platform Accelerator) during a transformative project with Comair Group.
Supporting Kulula, South Africa’s largest low-cost airline, and British Airways Africa, DaPa scaled to handle over 4 million passengers annually, enabling sales of over 1 million tickets on black Fridays and achieving an average aircraft fill rate of 98%.
From these successes, Teraflow extended its reach, deploying DaPa to startups, mobile operators, and medical aids.
Today, Teraflow is at the forefront of deploying turnkey digital AI platforms in just three months, a massive shift from the traditional two-year timeline. These platforms seamlessly integrate with enterprise legacy systems, enabling clients to:
- Sell more effectively with better customer experiences.
- Manage multi-channel digital self-service.
Recognising the rapid rise of Generative AI (GenAI), the founders expanded DaPa’s capabilities to include services that automate internal processes like procurement, onboarding, and sales at scale.
“The future is digital AI, and Teraflow is leading the charge to make it seamless, scalable, and impactful for businesses worldwide.”
